Observing White Ribbon Day

International Day for eradication of Violence Against Women, also known as White Ribbon Day, is celebrated across the country on 25 November every year. The purpose celebrations on White Ribbon Day is combating violence from every nook and corner of the country and highlighting the role of men in the eradication of violence against women.

White Ribbon annually marks International Day of Eradicating Violence against Women; every year on 25th of November, the day, also known as “White Ribbon Day”, initiates the activities at national level aiming to combat violence against women from every nook and corner of the country. The activities continued till 10th of December as “16 Days of Activism” which is planned and implemented to aware maximum number of people about true status of women as per our religion, cultural norms and traditions.
